IT Pro ニュース : ポップアップをブロックするIE 6.05がWindows XP SP2でデビュー米Microsoftが2004年上半期に公開するWindows XP Service Pack 2（SP2）には，Internet Explorer（IE） 6.05が含まれる予定だ。このIE 6.05には，ポップアップ広告をブロックする機能が搭載される見通しだ。
昨日大阪からの帰りにJRの終電を待っていたら
後ろに並んでいた50代ぐらいのおじさん二人が
「ADSLを速くしませんかとかメールが来るんだよ」とか
「infoseekがポップアップ出さなくなったんだよ！」とか
なんだか興奮気味に話していたのが印象的でした。
自分の場合は普段使いのブラウザのほとんどでポップアップブロックがあり
IEにもgoogleツールバーをいれているので
ポップアップを見ることが全くなくなっていたことに気がつきました。
そういうわけでおじさんの言っていたことが正しいのかどうか不明。
（ちなみに常用ブラウザはsafari@mac、firebird@win）
次期サービスパックでIEがバージョンアップするそうですが
個人的にはポップアップなぞどうでもいいので
CSSへの対応をまじめにやってほしい。
